Hartigan Outdoors - Snow Removal Services Terms and Conditions
Service Scope
Hartigan Outdoors will provide snow removal services to the customer’s property as per the agreed-upon service level. Standard services include the removal of snow from driveways, walkways, and other specified areas, as indicated in the customer’s service agreement.
Scheduling and Response Time
Hartigan Outdoors will respond to snowfall within a reasonable time frame following the end of a snow event. Response times may vary based on the severity of the weather, accessibility, and the number of properties requiring service.
Access and Safety Requirements
The customer is responsible for ensuring access to the property at the time of service. Driveways, walkways, and other areas to be serviced must be free of obstacles such as parked vehicles, toys, and other objects that could impede snow removal. Hartigan Outdoors will not be responsible for any areas left uncleared due to blocked access.
Additional Surcharge for Driveway Size
If Hartigan Outdoors determines that the driveway or any other service area exceeds the square footage or length agreed upon in the initial contract, an additional surcharge may apply. This determination will be based on a visual inspection and/or measurement. Customers will be notified of any surcharge prior to the additional charges being applied.
Inclement Weather and Severe Conditions
In cases of extreme weather, such as heavy ice or snowfall exceeding reasonable removal limits, Hartigan Outdoors reserves the right to limit services or delay response times. Customers will be informed of any delays or additional charges resulting from severe conditions that necessitate additional labor or equipment.
Damage Liability
While Hartigan Outdoors takes every precaution to ensure property is not damaged during snow removal, we cannot be held responsible for damage to surfaces (such as driveways, lawns, or landscaping) caused by snow removal equipment or by the removal of ice/snow from surfaces. This includes incidental damage caused by standard operations.
Payment Terms
Payment is due according to the schedule outlined in the customer’s service agreement. Invoices will reflect any surcharges as outlined in Section 4 above. Late payments may result in suspension of services until payment is received.
Termination and Cancellation
Either party may cancel this agreement with 14 days' written notice. Cancellations within this period may be subject to a termination fee if services have already been rendered.
Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Minnesota.
Acceptance of Terms
By agreeing to snow removal services with Hartigan Outdoors, the customer accepts these Terms and Conditions and agrees to abide by the policies set forth herein.
