Hartigan Outdoors - Irrigation Services Terms and Conditions
1. Service Scope
Hartigan Outdoors will provide irrigation services to the customer’s property as specified in the agreed-upon service plan. Standard services may include the installation, maintenance, winterization, and/or spring activation of irrigation systems, as outlined in the customer’s service agreement.
2. Scheduling and Response Time
Hartigan Outdoors will perform services within a reasonable time frame based on the seasonal requirements and customer location. While we aim to complete service promptly, delays may occur due to weather conditions, accessibility, or the volume of properties being serviced.
3. Access and System Requirements
The customer is responsible for ensuring unobstructed access to the irrigation system components at the time of service. This includes keeping the area around irrigation controllers, pumps, faucets, and valves clear. Hartigan Outdoors will not be responsible for services delayed or missed due to blocked access.
4. Additional Fees for Specialized Systems and Add-Ons
Hartigan Outdoors may require additional services or add-ons for certain irrigation systems:
Lake Systems: Irrigation systems drawing water from lakes or ponds may require extra services, including pump maintenance and additional winterization steps.
Nodes and Smart Controllers: Systems with nodes or advanced controllers may incur additional fees for specific settings, adjustments, or seasonal reprogramming.
Winterization and Spring Blowout for Faucets: Irrigation systems with exterior faucets or hose bibs needing winterization or spring blowout may require additional labor, equipment, or materials, which may incur extra charges.
Customers will be informed of any additional fees required for specialized systems before the charges are applied.
5. Inclement Weather and Severe Conditions
Hartigan Outdoors reserves the right to delay or reschedule services in cases of extreme weather or hazardous conditions that could affect the quality or safety of the irrigation service. Customers will be notified of any delays or additional charges resulting from severe conditions that require additional labor or equipment.
6. Damage Liability
While Hartigan Outdoors takes every precaution to prevent damage, we cannot be held responsible for damage to underground lines, landscaping, or other structures caused by standard irrigation service operations. This includes damage due to necessary excavation, adjustments, or adjustments in water pressure.
7. Payment Terms
Payment is due according to the schedule outlined in the customer’s service agreement. Any additional fees related to the specialized system requirements outlined in Section 4 will be added to the invoice. Late payments may result in a suspension of services until payment is received in full.
8. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Minnesota.
9. Acceptance of Terms
By agreeing to irrigation services with Hartigan Outdoors, the customer accepts these Terms and Conditions and agrees to abide by the policies set forth herein.
